Day 30- When did you first get into Doctor Who?..

I first became a fan of Doctor who in late 2010. I caught bits of episodes which Matt Smith had started in and fell in love with him and his energy. I was in a bad way, in a very, very dark place. Doctor Who began to fill the hole in my heart where my friends and family should have been;I had already pushed them all away. It became a ritual- an unbreakable habit. The more I watched it, the more I craved it. I was so wrapped up in the plots that I forgot all about how much I was struggling.

 I spent every last penny I owned on Doctor Who DVDs, tops, books, posters… anything. I then began to watch back from Series 1 and fell in love with the whole show. Amelia, Rory and The Doctor became my world and they changed my life. As stupid as it sounds, The Doctor and the Ponds saved me.
